OFFICIAL GrandErie Garden Giveaway $1000 Gift Certificate
RULES & REGULATIONS

​1. Contest Period

The GrandErie Garden Giveaway (the “Contest”) begins upon announcement and closes on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the close of business. No entries will be accepted after this time.

​

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority at the time of entry.

Employees of GrandErie Garden Centre, as well as their immediate family members (including spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and individuals living in the same household, are not eligible to enter.

​

3. How to Enter

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

​

To enter, participants must complete an official ballot and submit it by one of the following methods:

  • Filling out a ballot in-store at GrandErie Garden Centre; or

  • Completing a ballot obtained from GrandErie newspaper advertisements or promotional flyers and submitting it in-store.

 

Limit of one (1) entry per person per day during the Contest Period. Additional entries beyond this limit may be disqualified.

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

4. Prize

One (1) prize will be awarded consisting of a $1,000 GrandErie Garden Centre Gift Certificate.

The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable, and has no cash surrender value. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Draw Details

The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries.

The draw will take place on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM at GrandErie Garden Centre, Dunnville, Ontario.

6. Winner Notification

The selected entrant will be contacted using the information provided on their ballot. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within a reasonable time, declines the prize, or is found to be ineligible, the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

The winner may be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to claim the prize, as required by Canadian law.

7. General Conditions

By entering the Contest, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these rules.

The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected for the purpose of this Contest will be used solely for administering the Contest and will not be shared or sold to third parties, except as required by law.

​

9. Liability Release

By entering, participants release and hold harmless GrandErie Garden Centre from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of the prize.

​

10. Governing Law

The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations and is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
