GrandErie Home Hardware Building Centre is owned by five local partners Ken Zantingh, Henry DeKlerk, Bert Mulder, Wes Zantingh, and Nate Mulder. Much growth and change have taken place over almost three decades since GrandErie Ltd. first started up in 1989 as a feed mill.

Committed to the needs of our community, you can usually find the owners working side by side with our friendly and approachable staff as they serve Haldimand and Niagara customers. Our hope is that all of our visitors will find a full range of quality products with friendly small-town service.

Like all Home Hardware Building Centre’s, our inventory includes lumber, hand and power toolspaintplumbing, electrical supplies and an extensive selection of building materials, along with housewares, decor, automotive items, lawn and garden supplies, giftwaretoysseasonal live goods, and many other must-have home items.

In addition to all those areas – and unique to GrandErie Home Hardware Building Centre– is an expansive Pet department, Wild Bird section, Greenhawk Equestrian, Farm & Country agriculture division and the largest Home Hardware Garden Centre in Canada!

With a dedication to excellence in product quality and customer service that has made Home famous, GrandErie strives to ensure your perfect home or rural project, gift idea, or everyday gardening and household item can be found, right here, in Dunnville!

We are open 9am to 4pm on Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve. (Unless any of those days fall on a Sunday. We are never open on Sundays.)

We are closed on Family Day, Easter Good Friday, Thanksgiving Monday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Why aren’t you open Sundays?

Our ownership team believes we are all required to have a day of rest and helps prepare them for the week ahead. We offer extended hours Monday to Friday and are open Saturday.

To make a payment on your house account, you may use:

  • Debit card

  • An online direct bill payment from your bank account

  • Cash

For house accounts, we do not accept payment by:

  • Credit card

  • Home Hardware gift cards

  • Wire transfers

For assistance setting up online payments for your GrandErie account, please contact Stacey Campbell by phone or email.

What’s with all the smiling faces?

We hear this alot. It might have something to do with being closed on Sundays, or it might be that our co-workers are such terrific people, or it might be our cheery customers, or it might be that working in Dunnville is truly Grand, or it might just be something that’s pumped into the air around here...whatever the cause, it sure seems contagious!

Ultimately, we are happy to be here and happy to serve the community of Haldimand.

Sounds like a great place to work. Are you accepting resumes?

You’re right, GrandErie is a great place to work! Learn more about current job postings here.
