**NEW‼️ SENIOR SHOPPING HOUR:  During the current COVID situation, we are offering the first hour of our day to seniors or those more vulnerable:

  • In-store Monday to Friday from 7:30am – 8:30am
  • Garden Centre Mon-Fri 8am – 9am.

Are you open Holidays?

We are open 9 am to 4 pm : May Victoria Day, June Canada Day, August Civic Holiday, and September Labour Day, December Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Unless any of those days fall on a Sunday. We are never open on Sundays.

We are also closed: Christmas and Boxing day in December, New Year’s Day in January, Family Day in February, Easter Good Friday in March/April, and Thanksgiving Monday in October.

Why aren’t you open Sundays?

It’s a family and religious thing.  The owners believe we are all required to have a day of rest. GrandErie staff really appreciate and encourage the owners to keep this tradition alive and well.

I  want to make a payment to my GrandErie Ltd.  house account. What are my options?

You have some… but not all:  You can use your debit card …but not your credit card. You can do an online direct bill payment from your bank account …. but not a wire transfer… and of course there is always good ole’ traditional method of walk-in-and-give-us-cash … but not a HH gift card. Seriously, cash is good!

What’s with all the smiling faces?

We hear this alot. It might have something to do with being closed on Sundays, or it might be that our co workers are such terrific people, or it might be our cheery customers, or it might be that working in Dunnville is truly Grand, or it might just be something that’s pumped into the air around here …. whatever the cause, it sure seems contagious… just coming in the store – even visiting this website –  means you’re probably infected now as well.  No doubt you’re starting to feel a twinkle in your eye? Maybe your mouth lines are twitching into an upward position? Was that a twinge?  Yup it probably was. Feels kinda great eh? Welcome to the club.

Be a good Samaritan and pass it on. Thanks.

A smile is the light in the window of your face that tells people you’re at home.  ~Author Unknown

Sounds like a great place to work. Are you accepting resumes?

You’re right: our culture IS pretty warm and fuzzy, and because of that turn over is low. We’re quite picky when it comes to hiring new staff, and it can take a while to find just the right person for our team.

You’re most welcome to make us aware of your passion to join our team – even if we do not have a job opening posted at that moment- it’s nice to have a wishlist of perfectly suited candidates on hand when we are hiring. The person to contact is Avrielle. (avrielle null@null granderie NULL.net)
